Downloading the Competition Games
(Note: if you'd rather try some of the games online, 14 of the
entered games can
be played at the IFWiki.)
If you are interested in downloading individual games, you can do
so by following the links on the games page.
If you want to download all of the games, you have several choices
of files to download.
- For Windows, there are two files which contain everything you
need. IFComp2009.exe contains all of the
games. WinInterpreters.exe has all of the interpreters, which
are the programs you'll need to run the games. They are Windows
installers, so you will only need to double-click them once you've
downloaded them, and they'll do their thing.
- For the Mac, Comp09.zip contains all of the games. For an
interpreter, grab Zoom for
Z-code and Glulx games, and Spatterlight for the ADRIFT
games.
- For everyone else, Comp09.zip contains all of the
games.
If you'd like to check MD5 hashes:
- Comp09.zip: 4bc18ec41e8252e6d7be8456741a2723
- IFComp2009.exe: 33a78f19d382e63444599bc1b3acce05
- WinInterpreters.exe: 03878a24ee9c62c6b279b9766197fed7
Most of the interpreters you will need are available from the IF
Archive. You will need interpreters for Z-code,
ADRIFT 3.90 and 4.0 (for Windows or Mac), and
Glulx.
