Important note 1: The game little girl in the big world was mistakenly filed as a Windows game. It doesn't require Windows, though a Windows executable is included. It can be played under any browser that supports Javascript, or by use of Perl. If you did not download the game because you were on a non-Windows system, please download and play it.
Important note 2: The original version of the game Cerulean Stowaway used a quirk of earlier TADS virtual machines that no longer works under TADS VM 2.5.8, causing a bug that prevents the game from being finished. If you are running an interpreter earlier than 2.5.8, you should be fine; otherwise, please use the new version that avoids this bug.
If you are interested in downloading individual games, you can do so by following the links on the games page.
If you want to download all of the games, you have several choices of files to download.
Note that the files were initially available via BitTorrent. At this point BitTorrent downloads have decreased to the point that we have removed this option.
Most of the interpreters you will need are available from the IF Archive. You will need interpreters for TADS 2 and 3, Z-code, ALAN, AGT, and (if you're running Windows) ADRIFT.
In years past, the competition games and interpreters have been available from the IF Archive and other mirrors, putting a strain on those archives. To ease download requirements, this year we initially offered the files via BitTorrent, a peer-to-peer application that lets you download the files from other downloaders rather than from one central repository. Though the competition files are no longer available via BitTorrent, if you would still like to learn more about it, I recommend a visit to Brian's BitTorrent FAQ and Guide.
This year's organizer is Stephen Granade.
